This hotel is unique and very clean, you get exactly what is advertised, which is refreshing! Very beautiful inviting entrance with flower arrangements and places to sit. Front desk staff was extremely kind, thorough and patient explaining everything available. The rooms were amazing, had a door leading to the outside and another door that leads to the indoor area. The beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast was quite possibly the best I've ever seen at a hotel, very clean and organized with a large array of options. They even have a large indoor heated pool! You do not want to miss out on staying here. Very cool layout/design of hotel.

Was pleasantly surprised by this well run hotel in Raton. They have managed to avoid the drop-off in service that we have noticed in recent years. The place was clean and everything was as it should be. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Will definitely stay here again. The property is dated, but refurbished and nice. Nostalgia hit me hard as I remembered how excited I was to stay at a place like this as a kid in the 70s, would have been too much if they had a video arcade, lol.

It's a little dated, but so well maintained it feels like fun time travel! Great restaurant/bar, nice indoor pool, nice bed and room and really good breakfast buffet!

Excellent New Mexico breakfast in the restaurant area. Good green chile sauce, plenty of eggs and tortillas. Great for families with kids.

Large size of the room was surprising to us. Breakfast was tasty and the variety good. Enjoyed having an easy chair in addition to a desk chair.

In this time of labor and product shortages, the Best Western Plus Raton Hotel was above expectations. While I do not travel through this part of the country often however, if I find myself in this area again the Best Western Plus Raton Hotel will be my first choice

Indoor pool is great just closes to early. Everything very clean and great all around hotel.

The hotel itself was great. Only negative thing was they don’t clean the room daily so during our 3 1/2 day stay we had accumulated quite a bit of trash (there were no outside receptacles) ask for towels and washcloths each day and ask for tissue.

I loved everything about this hotel! The facility was newer, with a great layout inside and heated pool/workout space. A real restaurant/bar, with incredible food and staff, and the room was spotless.
